Welcome to the Terrordome #16 “Friday the 13th, Part VII: The New Blood”

Nothing else was on television tonight that fit my criteria for this challenge. So, with a heavy heart, I present to you 1988’s “Friday the 13th, Part VII: The New Blood”. I apologize in advance.

The only thing about this movie that’s a tiny bit less embarrassing than actually watching it is that the final girl, Tina, pulls a “Carrie” on Jason. (Speak of the  Devil, the new “Carrie” commercial is on. Ha!). That’s it. Nothing more to it.

It’s crap.

Fun Fact About “Friday the 13th, Part VII: The New Blood”: Apparently, the home film versions and the theatrical version of the infamous “sleeping bag death” differ. In the home versions, one hit took the victim out; yet, in the original, theatrical one, six hits with lots of blood killed her. I’ve never seen the theatrical version. My first time watching the film was on tape. Oh well. It’s still crap.
